  1. The threads look strong indeed but the question is how resilient it would be against degradation over time. On this front, I think, it will not fare well. I would probably have used a threaded insert instead

  2. not bad clamps, but going through all that, you can go to harbor freight and get the clamps of all kind that you can attach to the bars. I rather spend time making something..

  3. Get notice as your hand position was not safely while cutting 1st & 2nd small boards on your mitter saw ( time 0: 50 – 0:58)… Be safe

  4. Эта музыка, заезжена на всех каналах. Возникает желание выкл, при впечатлении что уже смотрел.

  5. I tried ordering the plans, but couldn’t find a way to pay with my credit card. Also, your payment site is listed as unsecure. Not sure if I want to provide my card info on an unsecured site. Great video, though.

  6. Дерево заполируется об трубу в подвижном упоре и струбцина будет скользить , причем это произойдет довольно быстро.

  7. Hi,
you've made some truly great clamps there, can i ask you why you had the movable part at the threaded end and not at other end and would it make any difference, thanks Chipper.

  8. Резьба в дубе вдохновляет, конечно, но не проще ли поставить мебельную гайку? Sorry for my bad English)))

  9. Hi Steve, I'm new to wood working. Have done only a few projects. I'm trying to build rack for my clamps. At 4:13 in the video you're cutting slots. When I try doing that the top portion of the wood cut to line but the bottom portion cuts extra deep. What am I doing wrong? I'm using a 50T combination blade for it.

Anyone else can pitch in as well.

  10. Putting the new one right back into the corner? Getting the old one out of the corner was the main reason for the new one.The new one is pretty sweet, though.Great job!

  11. It's interesting to see the retro Steve Ramsey shop: plain OSB, no paint, boombox, IPA box, no cabinets, all tools exposed and visible. For efficiency! But actually it feels terribly cluttered. The 2019 minimalist shop seems a lot nicer.

  12. "Some 5×6 manageable size pieces then some 39 degree cuts on them" then a swallow 3 degree cut on top" " then , you know…glue em all on a board…hmmm 1" apart. WTF? this sounds either completely arbitrary, or that you built ten of these already!? LOL……."Cleaning boy wanted"

  13. ..and it took u 10 years to figure out and get to it..awesome….I have a brother out there that i didn't know about!🤣..good job it looks awesome….I think its about time I should too.🤣

  14. Your videos are awesome! Not to mention you're funny and crack me up. Thanks for all the hard work. I'm getting great ideas from every video!

  15. Hey Steve, just made the bar clamp exactly how you did. Mine is a little smaller, but just as great! Thanks for the design and your other vids. Great stuff!

  16. Lol I loved the " demonstration " and the facial expression when the tape measure dropped haha. That was a great design though
