Easy, quick and cheap fix. If your planer is shutting down or off midway through a run then this might help solve the problem. Often, the cause can be a faulty circuit breaker.

  1. It is good to see another video from your goodself.
    It is always nice to be able to do a repair on a much used machine. My Dewalt random orbital sander gave up the ghost or so I thought. in my case it was the plug itself that had failed. that said the switch is starting to go, so i'll order in a new switch for it as I rather keep it going for as long as I can. I have done the same with several electrical items over the years, were once of a day I would have just thrown it out and replaced it.
