Here is my version of the Trend Varijig or Festool MFS.

It’s a fairly simple build, did the job I needed and was significantly lower cost than either of the above options.

It’s not perfect, and I’ll explain in the video how you could make it better.

I used the jig to fit my router plate, and in the next few weeks the video will be up for the install. Please subscribe if you’d like to see more.

  1. You can get 90 Degree Inside Hidden Corner Join L Bracket connector for them on eBay that will solve your problem as I have already done it also if you make a foot for your router that will stop the wobble that's how trend do it

  2. How self-squaring is it? Looked like it was the side of the corner brackets rather than side and end of extrusions which aligned.
