On their Day After Thanksgiving sale, I bought a Domiplate from Seneca Woodworking for my Festool Domino DF500. In this video I unbox it, set it up, and test it out. I was really impressed with the build quality of this tool.

  1. Thanks for sharing. Great explanation of the plate. Was is still worth the extra money getting the Domino 500 plus with the trim stop and the attachments or are they not really necessary until really needed later on? Thanks

  3. But the domino has a built in plate. Looks like you use it backwards? Why not flit it over and use the plate at 90?

  6. It seems to me that you can get perfect repeatable results with the domino as it is. I don't understand why this is better?
