How to Build A Dog Kennel / Crate For Cheap [ Indoor Furniture ]

In this Video I show how I made is dog crate/kennel that will go well with any home decor. I used poplar and walnut as my preferred wood costing around 0 just for the wood, but you can switch it out for pine from the big box stored, If you want something on the cheaper side for your Dog Kennel. all the black hardware i got from Lowe’s and the rebar i got from Home Depot. All my wood pieces are cut to 3 in wide and the rebar is 3/8 of an inch thick. with everything said and done this was around 0-0 for all the materials

  1. I just love when a pro uses tools that a lot of us have, like you’re not showing off very expensive equipment. Thank you so much!!!!!

  2. How cheap did you actually build this for? Since wood has been expensive and hard to find for the last 12 months

  3. What did you use as the bottoms? I would need this water proof and possibly removable or removable trays to clean. I have a lab that can’t control her pee at night? Great job!

  4. Hey, I went back through and checked over every thing. And rewatched the video several times, what did you use for the bottom? And just wondering how you got it to fit? Just measured what you had after you got all the sides/from/back together? Or did you already have the bottom measured and cut?
